This unique lodge, situated on the banks of the Tanji river, gives you the opportunity to explore the astonishing birdlife of the famous Tanji reserve, experiencing the African style of living and enjoy African hospitallity. The huts are build in typical African-style with a bar/restaurant, reception, souvenirshop. Even in our delightful tropical grounds you can spot more than 100 individual kinds of birds. The Lodge was founded in 1996. The original plan for building and exploiting a lodge in this style was the idea of Mr. Paul Bakary Jallow. At first 5 little type huts were built and later the others, which are substantially wider in diameter. The huts are built in the traditional style of the Fula Tribe. They are usual round huts that offer you the rare combination European comfort in the traditional African style.
