I had a great time there because of the british guy who run the bar near the guest house and the American chef who provide us great food. But the owner of the guest house who is an unfriendly local man had a big fight with them, so they both left, therefore, that place is no more fun anymore, I wouldn't think go there again.

Waow !! A really good place to stay if you visit Langkawi. Helpfull and good staff. Nice and clean rooms. The location is very good, near to the beach. I liked the guestkitchen, nice to arrange your own breakfast, not a lot of the hostels have this facility. Take care Zack, see you again, Dan the Sweede

The guys at the bar made me feel really welcomed and made my Langkawi experience unforgettable. I regret not staying here longer. 2 nights was too short. Close to beaches, Pubs, clubs, shops & restaurants. But the food at the bar is delicious. Will definitely come back here again to enjoy the beaches and stay at Zackry's guest House again.

This is the place to be if you like nice people and a easygoing lifestil.

A bit noisy, but one of the best backpacker hostels we've ever stayed in. While it's cheap, they also provide clean towels, and staff are extremely helpful (when not sleeping).

thanks for the good stay here. would come back if i should ever visit Langkawi again. hostel had everything a basic traveler would need. the only minor downside was the flush in the toilet was not working.

Not sure about it, but I think I had bed bugs or ants in my room as I woke up with three large welts on my leg. Other than that, the place was very good price-wise and location-wise. Would consider returning there again if I'm ever in Langkawi.
