Unfortunately we didn't find that many common areas which we could use (beside a small bar), so one need to find other things to amuse themself with.

A very nice, clean place to stay! The free breakfast is delicious. Since the hostel caters mainly to families, it is not a good place to meet other backpackers. However, it is very comfortable place to return to after a long day in Cologne.

if you are going there by car.. ask them again again.because there are two street in almost the same name!! location is not very bad by train..worht the price

This had the worst atmosphere of anywhere Ive ever stayed, a cross between a school and a hospital. Coupled with a bad location, this might be ok for school groups but its definitely not a backpacker hostel.

This hostel felt like staying in a hotel that just happened to have other people in the same room. The facilities were clean and secure, and the staff was helpful. It was also very conveniently placed near a rail stop. I hope to come back to Cologne in the future, and I will keep this great hostel in mind. It's very good.

good place to stay, just outside the center of cologne and close to the u-bahn. Good restaurant just 100m away
