task lights at the individual beds in the dorm rooms illuminate the entire room which is annoying to those trying to sleep.
lockers were great!
location was a bit scary to get to at night

there isnt much to do in bern and switzerland is really expensive.
the breakfast is really good and the staff is helpful. you probably arent going to meet very many people at this hostel.
internet not included.
if coming to the hostel at night i would take the tram down the hill, but during the day i walked it.

Decent hostel, good if you really need a place to stay and can't get into another hostel.

This hostel was really good value. Switzerland is expensive so expect to pay a bit to use internet a wash. The breakfast was sooo good and very filling. The only issue is that it is at the bottom of a rather large hill but other than that really great place to stay-would stay again!

Need to make rules about eating in rooms... had old couple who ate stinky food with doors and windows closed and room reeked for the whole night.... they then proceeded to snore as loudly as i have ever heard anyone snore all night... please supply baseball bats if ur going to allow old ppl to stay there....

Everything you would expect from a Youth Hostel. The place is good, breakfast was good. The hostel is located on the bottom of a hill; the view walking there is good, but the walk back up the hill is... well its really a steep hill. I would stay here again.
