So easy to walk into town to good restaurants, cafes etc. Really well equipped too and great kitchen

Hostelworld didn't do their job right on this one. They overbooked the hostel and it wasn't the hostel's fault. Even though Hostelworld never replied to my emails, the people at the hostel were extremely friendly and found a solution way better than expected. YHA Gisborne 10 points, Hostelworld 0 points.
