I thought it was veery expensive to be a hostel.
Also there was no facilities for handicaped.
Otherwise,I liked it very much

The William Penn Hostel was great fun and allowed me to thoroughly enjoy my stay in Washington DC while also meeting many lovely people from all over the world.

In an excellent location - walking distance to Capitol building, museums.
Breakfast (toast, cereal) was simple but adequate.
Tea and coffee facilities available throughout the day.
Nice living room area.

Some staff converse loudly in the kitchen after 10pm and the noise echoes into the 2nd and 3rd floor sleeping areas.

Your hostel was an integral part of a wonderful vacation. The house itself has such character and is so peaceful and welcoming! We (my daughter and I), loved it.
