fine place to stay. Some of the staff were helpful. There didn't seem to be much of an adult presence(management wise). Definitely host to a young group - sometimes loud. We only ate the breakfast a couple times - didn't trust the sanitation. we generally felt safe and the location was fine - easy to get anywhere by bus

We have been travelling for three months now, and the service we got here was definetely the worst we ever got. You should get a better booking system, since it did seem that you dident knew what you were doing.

Lovely place - full of young Brazilians who invited us out so we got to sample the nightlife in the best way possible. The owner keeps everything super organised and it's in a good location in a safe (for Rio!) area. Definitely would recommend it. The ONLY neagtive I can think of is that it's a bit of a trek to the loo from some of the dorms.

the breakfast and evening daily dinner are great! Probably one of the coziest and best-accommodating hostels I have ever been in. Not a jail, and very safe.

I was not happy with this hostel & location.The info on the webpage is totally misleading. It gives the impression it is near Ipanema beach.It takes 15 mins by taxi. We moved after 1 night.Their webpage states-Here is my promise: make your reservation with us.... if you do not like it we will pay you the taxi to any other hostel you want in Rio. Instead they charged us extra & did not pay the taxi. A blatant lie so totally unsatisfactory & dissapointing start to our holiday.
