I ended up visiting my sister and spent the night in her hotel room. But I did pay for my dormitory and set up my bed. The staff was nice and helpul. The building itself is very old, but it's sort of ok on the inside. It was clean, but the matresses were really, really old and smelly. I have stayed in better hostels. Other than that, the location is excellent, so that's a major plus.

staff were generally harried and rude. No time for explanations.

We were in room 12 and my daughter left behind a pair of shoes, a bag of toiletries and a bathrobe. Would you please put aside and I will have her contact you to pick up. Thank you so much. Debbie Brown

Nice Hostel, familiar atmosphere, very friendly staff, because of the excellent location in the main street of nightlife, its a bit noisy but we prepared ourselves with earplugs (cant have it quiet as in the desert and main shopping area outside the front door). Only problem is arrival at shabat - no reception, no phone, no entering the hostel. We had to wait with our luggage outside the hostel from noon till night (after sunset). Would be good to find a solution for guests arriving at shabat.

The area around the hostel was very noicy, special at nights. It was very hard to have a good nights sleep. And that was bad.
