The Indy Hostel has been the best hostel we have stayed at whilst travelling accross America so far. We feel really at home here and have decided to extend our stay for another 5 days. Garth (the guy in charge) has been really helpful, showing us around Indianapolis and what is worth doing etc. He even cooked for us on the first night we arrived, which was just top notch! Would deffinately recommend this hostel if you are staying in Indianapolis.

This hostel is great. Comfortable beds and clean throughout. Didn't see a way to lock things up (no lock on room door), but also didn't ask, since valuables weren't an issue.
House in great location - close to nearby brewpubs, coffee shops, bakery and specialty shops.

Not a good location if you don't have your own transport and want to get to city centre especially for late at night as quite a way (at least 3 miles) out of city centre. Fine if you are based near college. Everything else fine.

The Indy Hostel is an amazing place! John and Karen were very friendly and helpful. It was the best hostel we stayed at our entire trip and we had so much fun there! The Indy Hostel is a great place to stay!!!

It's a very cosy house hostel. Public transportation is cheap but the service times are BAD. The internet is free and it's pretty laid back.

This hostel is very clean, nice, and totally safe. Depending on where you want to go, it can be a little hard to get places since it is in the far north part of the city. But the bus system is very reliable during the daytime. A definite relaxing stay that I would do again.
