Special award for the staff here. Although we had to deal with many of them, everyone is very welcoming and helpful. We really liked the fact that you can leave comments on a white board if you have a concern and they would reply very quickly making sure they respond your expectations.

It was a great place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. its a 5 min walk from the underground train and is super convenient to get around the city. It was just me and best friend, two girls, had a blast! staff is helpful and our room had air con and the community bathroom wasnt that bad!!! I would go back. We both would.

Short walk from MTR & quite good location. Breakfast was toast & cornflakes with teacoffee. For 45 rooms on our floor there was 1 toiletbathroom (same room). No safe in room so had docs on us all the time. Downstairs there was cable tv with free internet access which was a real bonus.

i frequent singapore a lot. i've stayed at sleepy sam and fragrance. this time decided to try new place. glad i chose hive. the toilet is very clean. common area is clean. there's locker and what i like most is their double decker, it's 2 separate bed. so if your bunk partner moves you will not feel it. breakfast can be improved as i don't see the need to charge couple of cents for coffee and tea bags.

we had a twin room with the most uncomfortable lumpy beds we have ever slept in. everything else was fine butthey could do with getting some new matresses!

Maybe you could provide hot n cold water drinking water. It will come in handy for every traveler. Give it a thought. tks

the staff were excellent in every respect very informative about the area - how to get to places and when - helpful to us as seniors to load our lugage into the cab - nothing was to much trouble for them - thank you again - Clive and Helen Berrick Australia
