I?ve been in four hostels in Cape Town, The Backpack is far way the best one. The staff is amazing. Thanks Mia and Prudence.

Everyone here staff and backpackers alike are fantasticly warm and friendly. The place is brilliant and as long as you don't mind paying a little more than avarage I would highly recomend it. I will be staying here again.

Only problem was my ensuite dorm was close to outside toilet used by dorm without ensuite facility. I met some really nice people there. Moira

They seemed understaffed, and it was difficult to get help from the staff sometimes because they were always running around or appearing a bit stressed out. When I got there, they didn't take the time to explain how the door codes worked, and I didn't know until someone finally told me after I had locked myself out in the middle of the night.
