The staff were consistantly friendly and helpful. We had a very memorable stay and although our 10 month old granddaughter will not remember her stay, she had an amazing time at the hostel. thank you.

Bring ear plugs cuz the walls are sound transparant. Its on 9:th floor and there's no lift between 8am and 3pm. BIG WARNING if you take the pyramid trip - however charming and helpful the staff is, don't get carried away, keep in mind that they are there to make money out of you! No matter what they say (the "cheap Governmental place" is a lie big time, it's just a beduin business as any other you find there) don't pay more than around 200 LE for the 2h trip incl tickets.

Its got a great location in Central Cairo - 5 mins walk from the Egypt Museum, and the Nile. Its undergoing a bit of renovation, which isnt noisy, but will be a great improvement as the deor is a bit tired etc. Good value too, and the staff will help you sort out trips around the rest of Egypt (and take their commission) which is useful if you dont want to do it yourself. They let us store our big bags while we were in LuxorAswan for a week which was really helpful for us

Stay at Sun Hotel made me feel like I was at home, in such a diferent country like Egypt. The staff was great, specially Mido and Romy, they were very helpfull all the time, speak very good english and made very nice tours for me around the country. Very organized and good price. I really enjoyed my stay there. And the hotel is in front to the metro station, in downtown, so u can easyly reach it and u have everything that u need around.

Cockroach in all the bathrooms! Really not what it is written in the description. Loud speaking staff and television always on. You need to pay for everything written in the description. Good tour in the desert offered but Bad tour to upper egypt. Cheap bus, crowded schedule and bad organisation for hotels. Insist a lot on buying his tour. However, Nagib is nice and honest driver at good price!

I enjoyed my stay at the Sun Hotel. Met lots of new people - seems to be frequented by many travellers. I'd stay again!!!

Hey!! This hostel may not be very colorful but it is a quiet haven from the bustle of Cairo... Rami and the many others are very flexible and attentive to everyone's need. I will have tyo remark on the real cleanliness of the place which is all the more important if you walk all day in dusty Cairo!! Thanks guys I loved my stay with you and don't worry I will pass by!!
