I just loved staying at Sleep Cheap Hostel. It's really close to Tegel Airport. And there's also a railway station right next door, so you can reach the center of Berlin in around 15 minutes. The bedrooms are very tidy and you can meet really fun people. I recommend!

This was a pretty good hostel, I was only there for one night but it was nice, clean, staff were helpful, the room i was in had an ensuite bathroom.. Nothing to complain about at all really! :) I would stay there again.

a bit out of the city centre, but right near a train station so its pretty easy to get there, was really clean, impressed with the showers and toilets. really good for only 10 euros a night. staff is really friendly and you get free internet

GOOD:good train,10 mins to town. Warm,clean. Supermarket and good kebabs close. BAD: Worst kitchen- 2 pots, pans awful, no sharp knives or boards, no basic utensils, stove doesn't work!!!! No lighter or matches, the big elements don't catch for 5 mins and the small elements can't bring water back to the boil.Beds very uncomfortable and strange shower set up, 2 showers separated only by a marbled glass wall...

I had a good time in Berlin, just there was no one at my Hostel at the time which made things a little boring as I was travelling on my own. Other than that it was a really good place as I have stayed there before. So give it a try also go on a free day tour which was really fun called "Alternative Berlin"
