Riad Sara was in one of the filthiest areas of the town, with rubbish all around the entrance. Struggle to get to the location even in a taxi. Also, when we were leaving, we asked the porter to call us a taxi. Instead we got what appeared to be one of his friends who came in his car, which had no taxi sign or plates. The driver tried to charge 100 Dirhams to the train station from Riad Sara, when it only cost us 8.50 Dirhams from the train station to Riad Sara.

We had a fantastic stay at Riad Sara which is like a palace. We were a party of three friends and had a huge luxurious room. Breakfast was excellent, as is the location close to the entrance to the main souks and some very good restaurants. The staff (despite having limited English) were very helpful and made excellent mint tea. The riad made our stay in Fes absolutely perfect. Thank you!

The only regrettable moment was caused by one of the ladies in charge, who rather arbitrarily decided it was OK to deduct 10 Dirhams off the change due, when I paid for my staying (keep your eyes open: that seems to be common practise wherever you go, in Morocco). Otherwise, a lovely Riad.

this was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. You might feel like I am exaggerating, but it was truly wonderful. A bit cold, but it was December.

Thank to the staff, good breakfast, we had a problem with a taxiguide booked by the hostel the last day. The taxi driver try to do his life and not showed us the place as booked. We decided to go by ourself and pay only for what we had...unfortunaly we loosed a day :(

nice and clean riad, helpful staff and good location

More a cheap hotel than a hostel , beautiful place with lovely staff, my room was like that of a moroccan princess , I will go there again. Good location close to souk but not too near so quiet.
