I found Pension Marthahaus to be a very safe, secure, and friendly hostel. The staff was helpful in explaining the rules and amenities of the establishment and the rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. I would gladly recommend Pension Marthahaus to anybody looking to stay at a relatively inexpensive place in Bern.

A nice place to stay if you want to relax a bit. Very clean and comfortable, fantastic sized room and a good breakfast in the morning.

Basic room but still one of our favorite stays on our whole europe trip. The staff was great, and free internet access their computers.
