The staff were just great, Washington is amazing! It was very good located, near the center - the only thing we had some problems with was the the damp - probably because of all the rain, but it is located a wet place because of water from the mountains. Otherwise it was nice.

A simple hostel, not lively and you can get a good nights rest. There is a 10pm silence time. The staff are all helpful but don~t speak much english but that~s never really an issue. Ouro Preto is a nice place to relax and very different from Rio, and this hostel reflects that.

The owner of the hostel did a fantastic job. He did everything in order to make our stay a success and he did it great. The location is great and it was nice and clear. Thanks from Denmark

We had a great time at this hostel. It is bright and cheerful, with a TV and sofas for when it rains (which it did non stop while we were there). The owner Washington is great - he went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay. I would recommend this hostel unreservedly.

Very friendly staff. Feels like a real homestay. Good food and a perfect location with a nice view of the old city.

Its a wonderful homely place run by super enthusiastic Washington. The breakfast was amazing and the rooms clean and cozy. They have the best showers a backpacker can ask for. Overall, it was such a luxurious stay for us.

The hostel was very quiet, but the owner Washington, was very friendly and helpful, and it was a good walking distance from town. Some jam with the breakfast would have been an improvement!
