an absolute dump with bed bugs included.....

This hostel is the most disgusting dirty place i have stayed in in New Zealand, the double room was very dirty, lot of noise from the bar even at 4 floors above ground, the staff seemed like they\'d rather be anywhere else, the kitchen was a giant mess of dirty dished, clogged sinks and a lack of anything clean to use. worst of all the keycards to the room stopped working, then the new ones we got also stopped working, and the other guests told us this happens all the time.

Careful at Nomads Fat Camel Hostel!!! Because much pets around in bed!!! We was shocked and never more again come!!! Look out, really I say.

you need to fix the window in room 202 no 2 so it actually closes

I loved my stay here! The staff were great and the bar was super cool. It's a little home away from home. Apartments were a different from the norm. Just need a fork and the kitchen sorted me out.

The cleanliness of the hostel was very poor and so was the service from the staff. We got messed around by where we were staying and had to move rooms without any notice untill the morning. very dissapointed.

Hostel was in a superb location and had many great deals to bring me back there. The staff were friendly except for ONE woman who was working the night shift on the 15-16th Jan- VERY unfriendly and unhelpful. I came to talk to her about the air conditioning which left our bedroom freezing and she looked up at me and made some smart remark. Was NOT impressed. She should NOT be working with customers- not good for your reputation Nomads Fat Camel hostel!!!

i had a great stay and love that the staff organise activities every day for the guests.

Got there and one of our 6 beds was broken but after talking to the staff it was replaced. Some of the blinds on our windows were missing so we put up a sheet to cover that. The main problem would have to be the other people staying on our level because they never flushed the toilet after using it . But we ended up having alot of fun after getting over the initial shock of the place. The free dinners were nice and the location is perfect!
