It was a great atmosphere in the hostel, the staff was very accommodating when I first arrived, overall good experience and very good price.

An architecturally pleasant place with a nice kitchen. It's readily accessible from the downtown by bus and located right next to Minneapolis Institute of Art. The strict rules about small things, especially check in time is inconvenient.There are not enough restrooms and electrical outlets outlets, so during the high season, it could be inconvenient. Regardless of some inconvenience, I enjoyed my stay in this hostel, so I generally recommended it.

We were given the wrong key to our room and were locked out. No one is in the office until mid morning around check out time. We were denied a refund or help of any kind. Very very unfriendly....

This hostel was nice and charming It would be nicer though if they didnt restrict visitors to be out of state, and if they had some kind of breakfest. They only had four peaple in the hostel they could open it up to peaple in Minnesota as well, maybe they should require everyone to have a passport instead, they would prove they at least travel.

There doesn't appear to be good central management at the hostel, only employees who do what they can to get by, everything is kind of cobbled together. Bathrooms aren't cleaned very often.

Slightly inconvenient location (no access to light rail) but in a good neighborhood near an art college. Lots of food options a few blocks away. Hostel is relatively empty in the winter.

A lot of rules about the place, but overall very nice hostel. Staff let us stay an extra hour in the common room after check out time.

It was more run down than I expected. Kind of what you'd expect at a frat house. Wouldn't take much to keep it up better. Overall it was fine.
