The hotel was above expectations. The room was clean, huge and had a mini kitchen (mini fridge, microwave and some platescutlery). There was free internet on computers on the 1st floor with a printer (which helped with online checkin for flights) and had free wi-fi in rooms.

i absolutely loved this hotel. it was well worth its price too. i will definately stay here the next time im in san fran.

good location. Free wireless internet plus 3 computers in the lobby to be used for surfing and printing!! Rooms are huge and have microwave and fridge, large closet, writing desk. Continental breakfast with minimal selection but okay (toast (with nutella, cheese, peanutbutter jam), 1 type of cake, apple, coffeetee, orangejuice, applesauce, oatmeal).

Friendly and reasonably priced. Away from the sketchier parts of SF, but still close to the heart of the city. A little weathered, but clean, secure and comfortable. I extended my stay.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms I stayed in were were clean and very spacious. Would book a room there again for sure!

We traveled from Australia and only booked the Mayflower for one night orginally but when we got there we ended up staying for four nights. It was fantastic for it's price and in a great location. Staff were great as well.

I stayed at the Mayflower by myself for 2 weeks in a private room, with private bathroom plus kitchenette and plenty of space. I felt like I was a true resident of San Francisco.
The staff are really pleasant and helpful, but then most people are in San Francisco.
Breakfast is all self service; eat as much as you want :)
There wasn't a safe in the room, but I kept my passport and other stuff locked away in my case, which seemed secure enough.
