Very helpful. 15 min with Alex gives you about as much info as a entire guidebook, just a few years more up to date.

We lost hot water one night and power another but it was all fixed the next day and the manager is extremely helpful with planning trips or any recommendations about Arequipa.

This was like an oasis in Peru! It was so nice to stay in an incredibly clean and modern place with a great brekfast and super helpful and lovely staff. I cannot recommend it enough!

Excellent hostel - provides all the added extras a backpacker needs. The host is fabulous and provides lots of very useful information (ask any questions you like, also each room has a booklet compiled by the owner on ALL the information on Arequipa, Peru and beyond), including complimetary pick-up from the bus station.
