Nice hostel, but kitchen and bathroom not really clean... Enjoyed my stay.

Beng greeted at the airport with a flower lei was an unexpected and lovely gesture. Also getting a ride to the airport at the end of the stay. I appreciated the cleanliness. The beakfast was good and on time. The decor was sweet. Gonzales was always around and helpful. I loved the place. The only suggestion I have is the kitchen could be cleaner and better equipped. For example new shelf liners, and a can opener that works, and a cutting board and a bottle opener.

Kona Tau is an amazing hostal. We loved the atmosphere and we really felt we were part of the island there. However, sometimes ths cleaning staff would leave the sliding doors open after cleaning because it would be too hot. The hostal is cheapr and safe. You should be worried more about the street dogs at night. All in all, I definitely recommend it.

Without a doubt the best place to stay on Rapa Nui. Lovely veranda, beautiful gardens, clean, friendly, nice kitchen, good showers. Gonzalo is fantastic, he will help you with anything! You won

Had a great time, loved the place, great breakfast love the pancakes! - Just 2 points our door didnt lock to our room. Also on arrival there were 3 dead cockroaches on the floor, which didnt getting cleaned up for 2 days.

Wonderful location. Owner picks-updrops-off at airport. Morning meal very nice and clean. Owner very helpful and will help arrange all excursions. One of the better hostels.

really nice guy running it and good spot if the right crowd is there. if i ever make it back to Easter Island id stay there again.

Love the typical islander welcome with the Lei & all. Gonzalos was a great host, especially liked the tour of the town where he showed where the key amenities araound the island are located.

Really great hostel, nice staff, they are very helpful, the hostel is clean, they pick up and return to the airport for free. The hostel is very quiet so it was just perfect, and just 4 minutes for the main street, really nice.
