My second time in king tut hostel and the frist time in last October 2008, they are very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spotlessly clean, bathrooms also. Beds comfortable. All in all, a good place, and for the price, a terrific value. I can recommend this place with a good heart to everyone

To Say King Tut Hostel was good would be a lie. It was SUPERB. We were extremely pleased with the input from the Manager and all of his staff who could not do enough to help us. King tut hostel is a good choice for someone travelling in a small budget the place is clean and the staff is really friendly and helpful with the information about tours that can be taken, the location is excellent not far from the main attractions, you can arrange a pick up from the airport just for a fare price. Breakfast could be better and you may find the place is a little bit noise ( beacouse the street and located in downtown ) but without a doubt is a good place to rest.

This was the best hostel we have stayed in so far in Egypt. The location is perfect, walking distance to Egyption Musuem and the Cornish. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The air condition worked very well and hot water was always available. Soliman is such a nice and helpful person. He helped us with transportation, tours, train tickets and all to a very good value for money. We have only positive things to say about this hostel.

Hostel staff is nice and cooperating. Need of cleaning in hostel on regular basis. Quilts are dirty and should be replaced. Location is excellent and every place can be reached from there easily.

We have had a fantastic time in Egypt!! Atef and staff at King Tut were incredibly helpful and made us feel very welcome. They helped us tailor our trip to maximise our time and cut out a lot of the hassle. Everything that they helped to arrange was spot on and we would thoroughly recommend taking the friendly advice they offer. Arranging pick up from the airport in advance is well worth it and again hassle free. Thank you again Atef!

The location can't be beat for the traveler looking to be in the mix of things, you're within walking distance of Islamic Cairo, the Egyptian museum, and the Opera Island. The staff was nice and willing to help out, but weren't much on the friendly side beyond the simple pleasantries. If what you're looking for is a cheep place with a shower in the middle of Cairo you've found your hostel.
