This is a good, cheap place if you dont want to spend big money. the rooms are huge and clean. we've been told by friends from panama city that the area is getting a little more dangerous then it used to be so you just got to be careful. a couple of times we asked for directions to places and the security guys from the casino around the corner told us not to walk there as it is dangerous so next time I would probs stay in the banking area rather then there, but the hotel is absolutely fine.

I think this might have been a brothel, I am not sure. The roasted chicken stand outside gave my friends a digestive parasite. It was a nice hostel to stay at for one night though before taking panama by storm.

Entiendo q por el precio no debo esperar muchas comodidades, pero al menos q sea limpio y el staff amable. En este hostel no se cumple mucho eso. En nuestra habitacion habian letreros escritos en la pared. Y al parecer rentan las habitaciones por horas. (como un Motel). Hubo quejas de los huespedes con gritos al amanecer por entrar prostituas. Y se me perdi

Great Deal for the price. Only a couple of blocks from a Laundromat, and the bus lines. Rooms were clean and secure, although the water pressure was low on the 4th floor. We returned and stayed an additional week. But no English spoken here, although staff was helpful, and would call a translator if needed.

Very clean and safe for $22. I enjoyed my stay there: great location too.
The only negative point is the staff. The ladies at the reception desk are not nice. They do not seem to like foreigners. They do not have a clue about computers and credit cards either. But we managed.
It is worth the price though. I recommend it.

No water for two days. You could not flush the toilet or take a shower. Also the air-conditioner did not work all the time.

Not your typical hostel...as in no congregation room or cooking facilities to interact with other guests. In fact all the other guests I ran into were locals, I didn't meet a single foreigner in this hostel. Maybe it was just my timing. Overall I thought it was really nice especially for the price. I definately plan on going back. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of some really great shopping.
