The cleanest hostelhotel I have ever been to. Personalized attention was incredible. Missing the fun party atmosphere, but still a great place to relax and acclimate to the high altitude. A definite pick for people who like it quiet! I enjoyed myself and the Brazilian TV

The hotel is slightly away from the centre but only a few minutes - better value closer to the centre. The room was average but probably best to ask for one from the 2nd floor up at the front to get a view of the lake. The staff

Very nice people and definitely worth it. Comfy beds, functioning TV, hot showers, free breakfast, even guarded some of my belongings when I went on an overnight excursion. Little pricier than most hostels but definitely good value nonetheless!

More of a hotel than a hostel but other than that its a good place to stay. Rooms are big (I stayed in a double) with clean ensuite and hot water, and cable tv. Only 5 minute walk from main street. If travelling alone slim chance of meeting other people here but other than that its all positive.

The best shower ever! Huge, powerful,hot amazing ... Lovely breaky.Very quiet but in a good way, comfy beds too. Close to main square and pedestrian area where all the restaurants and bars are.We recommend it.

We had a great time at Maria Angola. The facilities were awesome. the hostel has just what your looking for, good beds, good tv, good bathrooms with great hot water and a fun atmosphere, The hostels staff were Very helpful especially when I was unwell. They called for a doctor and also helped me greatly. Would definitely recommend. The hostel was well kept, clean and felt similar to a hotel.

This was perfect. I have traveled around the world and this is by far the best hostel I've stayed in. The staff was extremely helpful, and honest with arranging all tours around Puno and lake Titicaca. The hotel is very clean and the beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water. Everyone was nice and accommodating when necessary. Although it is a short walk from the center, the neighborhood is safe, Nothing was too much trouble!. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Puno!
