A very good budget hotel for its price. Location is good: about five minutes walk from Lyon's central square and almost next to the Lyon international train terminus. Staff are friendly and helpful enough and rooms are as good as you would expect.

Highly recommended. Not your average hostel - this is a budget hotel - but friendly staff, clean, well located and secure (police station a little further down the street).

Very clean but a little difficult to get to. If I were to do it again I would call ahead because the directions they give you are very vague. I would of rather couch surfed if I would of known about the conditions.

it was four of us visiting Lyon, had a great time, very pleasant staff, giving us maps and everything, great toilet with a big bath tub (in which you could sleep) ;P , TV in the room... so I sincerely recommend it! Located just next to one of the stations within walking distance of everything you should see... ;))

These are minor issues but worth stating: Overwhelming perfume that tries to hide decades of cigarette smoke baked into the walls. The "free" internet is buggy (reenter password every 20 minutes) and you are only alloted one free connection per room. Friendly staff only speak French. Clean rooms, great location, strongly recommended.

Instructions to get there from the train station could be better. Suggest taking carnot side, do down the escalator, down the steps, proceed straight through the park, cross the road and before entering the mall turn right and it will take you to their street.

You can stay in for a couple of nights, but I wouldn't stay for a whole week.
