Great rooms, very spacious and had private bathroom. Only problem it was very noisy till about 4am, located in busiest part of town, 3-4 niteclubs surrounding so unless u will be out at them most nights or dont mind the noise I would give this place a miss.

This is a good place to stay. Clean, great location and fun. Plus it is near this awesome little hole in the wall bar called One

The hostal itself is pretty good but beware of the guests: they could be loud sometimes, and the food you store in the fridge and in the kitchen is being "used" by other guests--they take your beverage, milk, bread, ham...

The location is great literally just 200m from the beach. Could use some more showers but apart from that very good for a stay in Puerto Escondido.

Really liked the Mayflower, my second time staying there, this time in a private room, which was fabulous and very good value. Great view of the beach and cleaned daily.

Very noisy - avoid room 22 if possible, it's next to the kitchen, patio, bathroom, and underneath the terrace (where there's a pool table!!)
Nice building and central location, but not particularly friendly (unless you're young, blonde and tanned, then you'll be fine!)
