We couldnt believe the lack of consideration by I guess it was one of the owners of the hostel. Too noisy in the eve, dorms are located right beside the main patio. Ah! dont buy the Quebrada de las Conchas tour there cause its more expensive. The two guys in reception were relly helpful.

really great staff, fine place centrally located. dorms are on the cortyard by reception, so can be a little noisey before 02. after 07-08. there are many other good hostles in Cafayate, but not in HW: Maybe time to expand networks...

The hostel was great! It feels like the service and space of a hotel for the price of a hostel, so perfect! The atmosphere was very friendly and the staff is great. There is a kitchen where you can cook and a nice little bar for drinks in the evening. This was the best hostel where we have been in Argentina!

We loved the Hostel Ruta 40! Everyone working there was super friendly and were a great help in planning our trip past Cafayate. My only regret was not staying longer.. I hope to go back soon!
