This place was great for just a place to stay. It was clean, and it quiet, but i felt like i was invading space of the owners.

Staff was virtually non-existent. After checking in, we didn't see a single employee all weekend (including when we left). Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, and bathrooms have plenty of hot water. No lockers for large bags. Rooms were very cold at night and the blankets provided didn't cut it. Not recommended: San Miguel has plenty of other places to choose from.

This was a wonderful hospital! Luis was very friendly and gave us excellent recommendations on everything from where to eat to which galleries to look at. The hostel itself is beautiful; we had a big room and bathroom to ourselves; and they even changed our sheets! This was an excellent value, and we had a wonderful visit. I want to go back!

I am dissatisfied that the hostel fooled us on the exchange rate between US Dollars and Mexican Pesos. The room was quoted in dollars on Hostel World, but at the hotel we had to pay a quite high price in pesos. I estimate that the hostel "stole" around 20 USD with this exchange rate scam.
