We didn't actually stay here bc our reservation was cancelled... price was wrong on Hostelworld and the hostel wouldn't honor the price we agreed to online.. very bad customer service!

We absolutely loved Hostal Van Gogh. It was right in the center area of Sevilla. We marked "fun" as average, because we had a great time, but we didn't meet people staying in the hostal, probably because we had no interest in doing so. There was someone up at the entrance all night to let you in and give you your key (literally 247), which I thought was great.

Sadly room with no outside window but did have air conditioning. Bathroom very small, but clean, and impossible to use toilet as normal due to lack of room.Hoever, for 1 or 2 night stay fine, but not for longer perhaps

This hostal was good value for Seville. The main problem was the level of noise during the night from other residents and even from reception sometimes, making it difficult to sleep, even with earplugs in!. Though there was no outside window in our room (21), the curtain over the window to the laundry room was vey thin and the stairway lights made it quite bright at night.

A great place at a reasonable price and a fantastic location

ability of staff to give directions was not that good. noisy at night bathrooms too crowded

Very convenient location, steps away from the Alcazar and the church. We stayed on the sole top room, room 30. There was a rooftop terrace that we never got to enjoy, but it had a view of the alcazar walls. Our room was a little tight on space, and smelled a little musty. But very cheery, small place.

Apart from being in a central location, the hostal really needs a renovation, the linen and the towels were very old and with some spots on them. The AC smelled a bit of humid and the beds were noisy. Not to mention the size of the rooms that vary from microscopic (3.5m x 2.5m) to decent but nevertheless the only furniture you will find in them are a couple of chairs and some clothes hanger. It is ok for a night but not for longer!
