If you simply want a bed to sleep on and not much more, and you don't want to pay much to be in downtown Madrid - then this place is it.

It was a tiny room for 2 people, and the hostel didn't really offer anything. Good location though.

This is a simple, quiet hostel where I had a private room. The room was nice, everything was very clean, and the staff friendly, but limited in speaking english. The hostel was slightly difficult to find since the sign is actually very small, and mounted high up on the non-descript building. Trust the street address and look for the door bell button marked Hostal Numancia. Overall a great place to stay if you are just looking for a quiet cozy place that is inexpensive and clean.
