Definitely the best hostel I stayed in in Brazil. So many places for people to meet and hang out. Great and helpful staff, as well.

Beautiful hostel located right on the beach in the Barra section of Salvador. Nice place to chill out with friends, and had several different areas to hang out in. If you stay on the first floor however, do not keep anything on the window ledge, as we had people from the street reach in and grab things out of our bags.

The hostel is not clean and the manager calls to blame you if you sleep one night outside the hostel, threatening call the police to denounce you as you were a cheater.
The rooms have poor ventilation (what is very important considering Bahia weather).
The bathroom is quite dirty.

The suite number one in which we lived in was very dump. there was no window in the room and therefore it smelled wet and kind of old. That didn`t made us feel comfortable
