The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and reasonable. It was good to do my laundry!

For this very low price the Hostel is ok. You only should take care to get a room with daylight and if you want western-style toilet. The staff doesn't speak English and you can't find information material about sanya or hainan in the hostel. Location is excellent.

We spent four nights here and two nights at a resort in Sanya when we came to Hainan Island. The hostel was great about having information on tourist activities in English as few people speak English in the area. Our resort in Sanya had no English speaking staff (which seems to be typical of most places), so we wished we had the same outlet of information in Sanya that we found at the Haikou hostel.

Hey.. Only stayed there for one night but it wasnt so clean. Bugs and things in the room. Dusty floor in room but not i the lounge. The staff was really good.
