A nice place to get out of the city and do nothing, really, nothing (if you didn't have a car you would be screwed) Cute farm though, and nice, helpful staff.

Interesting place to visit if you want to stay for a night with your car or spend longer time. Really relaxing place away from all the fuzz. Not in many hostels you can wake up to cockcrowing and walk outside to see different kind of farm animals.

The guy who owns the place is a lot of fun. He'll happily show you around all his animals and try and sell you a pig. The bungalow is nice with good facilities. definitly a good place to stay for those who like farms and the countryside.

I was so amazed with O'Donnell's Blue Star Hostel. It is a small place in the beautiful countyside. It felt like a home not a hostel. Located on a farm and we stayed in a brand two story house. We had the whole place to ourselves. In the morning the owner (who was sooo kind and amazing) showed us around his farm and told us Irish folklores. We loved it here!

this was a great place :) very clean, very quiet - the owner was great- very informative and very kind. It's about 1km to the nearest town, and the quiet was appreciated - we even had the whole house to ourselves at times. Hopefully I'll be back

Michael was a lovely host, the bungalow is clean and comfortable, the pet farm is good fun. Only put average for location being as it was in the middle of nowhere which was fine for us as we had a car but if you didn't we imagine it would be hard to get to, however the views and peace & quiet are well worth it! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends.
