Location was great if you didn't have much baggage to carry from the bus stop. The septic started backing up (based on the smell from the bathroom) towards the end of the weekend. If you want to get any sleep, avoid staying there on a Sat night.

A tale of two halves - great location, good atmosphere BUT no security (windows opened enough for someone to climb in) and toilets and showers FILTHY, as if they hadnt been cleaned in weeks, with mould all over the walls.

The staff are really cool and helpful, nice place to chill out as well as party. A little expansive but I would still love to stay there again

Hostel was really cool, with outside areas overlooking the beach and balconies. Lots of free internet. Kitchen very small and too many beds for the size of our dorm, but the other dorms looked OK. We loved it there, the staff were fantastic and friendly and helped us out loads. Thoroughly recommend it.

slightly overpriced. Considered to be the "american capitalist" hostel of a sweet little beach town.

Great location, amazing staff, great social atmosphere. Dorms are cramped, drawers for storage are often broken. Bathrooms, are disgusting: shower doors don't close, broken taps, broken showers, blocked drains, and frogs in the shower. Communal space is inadequate. The kitchen is frustrating: cramped, under-stocked, impossible to get to at times as there are far too many people trying to use it.

My sisters and I fell in love with Punta del Diablo... The hostel had a great vibe, and I enjoyed meeting the type of people that visited this location... There's no ATM, so come prepared with cash. This is a chill surf town with a few stores and horseback riding... A great place to relax during the off season. I heard that it gets crazy and packed after Christmas and through January!
