The staff didn't seem to know anything about the Derby or the area, but they did try to help me as best they could. The dorm room was clean, but very nondescript. The place had no character at all. It also wasn't easy to find (would have been easier if they'd just told me beforehand to hop on the 61 bus down Osmaston Rd). Overall I wasn't impressed and couldn't wait to leave.

We were the only people in the hostel on a friday night. Has been recently modernised to a decent standard, nice kitchen but only a microwave for cooking. Lounge area also nice, No hot water the night we stayed. Trafic is a bit loud if your room faces the road.
