It is a new place and does not have much character but is nice and quiet. It is far from the old town. It would take about an hour to walk to the old town but there is a bus that makes it far quicker. We rent a scooter for the three days that we were there for 300 kunas. It made it far easier to get around, to the beach and explore the city. As a result we wound up with some great night pictures of the old town and pictures from above the old city on the hill.
