I can't recommend this hostel highly enough! The family running it are kind and friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and colourful. The surrounding area is so spectacular that you have to explore, but you could just as easily cuddle up in the hostel all day and read with an ocean view. I loved this place.

Though out of the way, Downhill Hostel was beautiful, clean, and located in the junction of a forest, beach, cliffs, and ruins. The staff is a married couple and both of them are lovely, kind people who are quick to turn up the heat if you need it or stop for a chat. I've stayed there twice now, and I'm already debating when my next stay up there should be. Highly recommended.

This hostel has life. There is creativity and character poured into it's walls and rooms and the location is amazing.

The hostel was gorgeous. It was perfect for a weekend break. The beach is literally at the door and the views are spectacular. We had a fantastic break and were able to cook a lovely big dinner in the well set out kitchen. It is a very relaxing and inspiring place to stay and we will definately recommend it to anyone heading up or over that way. Thanks to the owners for their relaxed and welcoming nature.
