Art deco buildings in the centre of Napier. Good security and clean.
An old building, which consequently means it can be a little cold. But a good hostel overall.
Big lounge, and kitchen with lots of facilities.
Lots of parking nearby.

Lovely art deco building, right int he centre of Napier close to all the shops, bars and restaurants. Free continental breakfast each morning which was an added bonus. Clean facilities, very nice rooms. Would recommend.

This place has the feel of a hotel so it was a welcome change for us. It has a perfect location too, close to the beach, the pool and right on the main street. There is a great food and wine trail to do int he area too.

Beautiful place, great communal space and good dorms. Was a little bit lacking in atmosphere amongst the guests though, which although is not the fault of the hostel, was shame on New Year's Eve!

Idyllic place to stay for art deco lovers. Only downside was an Irish bar over the road which was noisy until the early hours

A great hostel with an outstandly clean and well equipped kitchen. There was also a nice lounge and dining area. The only problem was it seemed so empty and not much socialising was going on. The staff could do with organising events to get people together.

rooms were basic but comfortable. hostel cat was a bonus as was free breakfast downstairs. downstairs is also a bar however so if you fancy an early night bring earplugs as the music cranks till 3. staff super friendly and helpful and awesome location
