perfect hostel.
me and my girlfriend slept in double bed room.
it was very clean and very good looking. the price was very good (60 dollars) and chris- the manager is the nicest man in all the hostels world. he helped us even without asking him, and now- when were at YHA in Taupo we really missed that hostel.
Chris has a good reason to be proud.

Loved this place and would recommend it to anyone staying in rotorua. Chilled out atmosphere, comfy beds and super friendly staff.

great place to stay, character and very friendly and helpful staff, would highly recommend. their spa pool is also great and have a nice outdoors area to sit and hang out. very relaxed.

Crash Palace is a great place to stay! Chris is such a great manager and he really cares that everyone there has a good experience! Plus they have the cutest kitten and doggy. While it may not be the newest building, it more than makes up for it with it's character and awesome staff. Stay here and you'll leave happy!
