It was a delightful place and at a great price. I will definitely try to stay there again if I return to Mexico City

for those on a budget, this place is a great choice to stay in Mexico City for a visit. The location itself is on a side street but very easily accessible to taxis, buses, and the Metro(which I consider the best way around the city). The city is teeming with police and we felt safe going around on our own,

This was our second stay at Casa Gonzalez and it was even better second time round. The location is perfect, easy walking to Zona Rosa, and the bus station. Great little food stalls nearby, especially the one on the corner next to Casa Gonzalez.. The staff are friendly and helpful and will advise on where to go and what to see, and they even get humming birds in the garden area. Would definately reccomend it to all ages and budgets. Oh and they make great Mocha's and Hot chocolates!.

Beautiful place in a great location. Jorge is the most gracious host. Dining room was beautiful, like eating in a friend's home and the food was terrific. Not like going to a hotel, just like going to someone's home (which it is). Hot water, great people, no hotel weirdness and great rates. We'll be back.
