Good hotel with very friendly and professional staff. There is, however, a disco close to the hotel, that was quite loud until deep into the night (including the people leaving it). Of course this is outside the hotels control, but annoying nonetheless.

The staff at Camino Real Turistico were very welcoming and friendly. Liz met us from the train station and walked us up to the hostel. Someone carried our bags up stairs to our rooms. This has been the most friendly staff we have encountered throughout Peru. Would definitely recommend!

More of a hotel than a hostel. Great location, we were welcomed with a Coca tea, which was a friendly touch. Really helpful staff, who went out of their way to help us. Would highly recommend.

Overall a pleasant stay with 2 exceptions
1. Our room was not serviced with no explanation
2. The breakfast was poor on the 1st morning - no laid table to sit at and very basic. Strangely, it was good the next day despite the same member of staff.
