This hostel had the best location in playa not only was it right on the beach but it was close to great resturants and night life. despite the decor being a little average ie holes in the walls filled in with newspaper. it kinda gave it a sense of character.we orinally booked only two days at the hostel but booked an extra night because we loved playa del carmen

The hostel itself was nice,close to the beach, great bbq. Make sure you ask for a receipt when you pay!!

The sewage system inside the bungalow is a bit smelly during day and night.

I think I should be credited 100 p for the fact that the tv never worked the night we were there. But overall we had a pleasant and accomodating stay with a colorful room and friendly peoplestaff.

This place is perfect if you want to stay in the city centre and be close to the beach. The pricequality is good, the rooms are clean. For me the people of Popul Vuh made my stay extra special because of their friendship. Thanks again Alex, Marisol and Ernesto!! Besos Angelique

Excellent location!! Popol Vuh was a clean and very originally built place, all staff friendly and the garden really nice. Highly recommended!
