The bathtub was dirty with a hair clogged drain, so we didn't take showers while staying for 2 nights.

major problem is that there is only 1 bathroom with toilet throughout whole hostel. If someone is in shower, cannot access toilet!

The taxi driver told us 500,000 people lived in Bari. 100,000 of those people drove their cars at great speed past our window between 10pm & 2pm on that Sunday night. Had to have windows open as very hot and air con was additional 10 Euro. Would recommend only because of proximity to station. Beds very squeaky, mattress still had plastic on???

Security is very tight. Three locks to get in. It is on a nice street, except at the end with the trash and homeless. It is near shopping, but away from the historic district. We took the 20 bus from the port to the train station and it is less than 5 minutes from there. The rooms are non-smoking but the guy there is a chimney and fumigates the place. The bathroom was nice, but no shower curtain so it gets wet. I would stay again.

Nice big room walking distance from train station. The 5 locking system on the doors was interesting......maybe they were a bank vault at some stage??? Spoke very klimited english but was clean and decorated with Ikea.
