This hostel was an excellent place to stay, with lots of character and lots of fun. The bar is a great place to meet people if you're traveling by yourself. Fantastic atmosphere.

Why would I want to fill out your form when on informing reception staff of thieving from the safe on two consecutive dates I was treated with distain. I will also be posting messages on all hostel websites to warn fellow travellers of your staffs' dishonesty and your complete disinterest.

Nice place with a very helpful staff but not a good place to rest. If your looking for a lively atmosphere Ashanti is the place but if you are looking for a place to rest I would look some where else.

Hostel was nice, but the rules were not enforced, don't plan on sleeping much. Loud music till well past midnight and people outside being loud, but if you want to meet alot of people from pretty mch anywhere, enjoy your stay.

my room didn't lock and i had to pay a deposit of 50 rand but couldn't get back when i checked out because i had no proof i paid the deposit

I thought this hostel was brilliant! Yes, the double rooms were a little noisey as stated on Hostelworld but the staff ensured the music was turned off and people moved on long before midnight so we had no problems. Amazing showers and great location.

Great place, would stay here again without thinking twice.

Too much noisy.... we couldn't sleep !We could hear what neighboors told in their own room ... and when some people are drunk, it is not acceptable Rooms do not have plugs in order to charge batteries Toilets were not very clean Price was good but i would prefer pay more and sleep !
