This is the best place that I have stayed at during my travels. In addition to providing excellent service, the place was a great introduction to the character of the city--inviting and extravagant, with pleasant surprises. I would go back if I visit Amsterdam again.

'little bit about Amsterdam' before you enter to your place. Room is beyond what I've expected, it's more than a guesthouse. I wish we will have more these kind of 'guesthouses'. I wish to stay there again! Hehe!

My boyfriend and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay in Amsterdam! We really enjoyed the privacy of having our own tradition Dutch building, a memory we will treasure forever, and the staff were AMAZING! Their advice on restaurants and coffee shops was invaluable to making our trip fantastic! Whenever we choose to visit Amsterdam again we will need to look no further !!:-) :-)

Jorge is a pleasure to talk to and deal with. Our room was clean and perfectly suitable. I thought it was a very good value and was in an excellent location. They apparently have 2 or 3 houses in which to offer rooms and it was really no inconvenience to get to the room. We are returning for our last night in Amsterdam after a week in Paris. I would feel very comfortable recommending this place to others.

Staying at Truelove Guesthouse when I was in Amsterdam was the best choice I made in my travels. I was alone and I'm not the most confident traveler but Paul sat down with me and a map of the city to help me plan out my visit and not get lost along the way. The room was clean and bright and only a couple of blocks from the train station. When I go back to Amsterdam, I won't even consider staying somewhere else, Truelove was the best.
