I had a horrible experience here. When I arrived, I had a booking for 3 nights but was informed that I could only stay for 2. They refused to refund my full deposit and I had to speak to the manager on the phone in order to get it back. He and the receptionist were both incredibly rude to me. I was later told that the Alibi hostels have a very poor reputation in Piran and that people are constantly complaining about their rudeness and the unsanitary conditions in the hostel.

There's another hostel just around the corner, unfortunately not listed on hostelworld (HI affiliated I think?). Enough said!?!

This hostel was exceptionally dirty, bathroom in particular was filthy and was never cleaned during stay. Built in grime and water laying on floor a constant. Very smelly bathroom that permeated the room.

This hostel offered poor value for money for a family of four looking for one room, we could have done better in a hotel. The facilities were average and water leaked all over the bathroom from the shower, slippery when wet so they say. Comfortable enough beds and quiet location still close to the centre of town are redeeming features.

An "OK" hostel but poor security and not particularly clean. The location was the best part about it and Piran itself is well worth a short stay.

The room was awful : dirty (we had to clean the floor, the kitchen and the fridge before setting ourselves), no hot water at all, a single light was operating. Take example to Alibi in Ljubljana which was great.
