Variability in prices quoted was annoying, however staff friendly and knowledgeable about activities in town and best mode of transportation, English speaking staff useful and self catering was accommodated very well.

The staff is really helpful, and the bar downstairs is good. You get discounts for food and drinks, and the grotto downstairs is nice. It's right next to the Fish and food marked, and just a second away from the Piazza with the smiling elephant. They also have guided tours to Etna. Really enjoyed my stay.

Even though I came to Catania knowing barely any italian, the staff at Agora were very patient with me and were very helpful and friendly. They have a restaurantbar on the side of the "ostello" that is alot of fun. The food is delicious and the stronger sicilian wine is very tasty.

For 11 euros no-one can complain. The staff were great. Hot water was a bit touch and go which was lame, but very cool to be able to buy fresh sicilian produce at the market next door and cook up.

Dirtiest hostel on the face of the planet. i felt like i was in a prison from WWII. Do not go, and oh yeah we got eaten alive by mosquitoes....in november.

staff here were really helpful and it is a good base for main sites of sicily. Overall a pretty good place with everything you want in a hostel. Only criticism was luggage storage was not in a room but we were able to put it under the stairs so it wasn
