B&B Al Calicanto is on the hills in the neighborhood of Bergamo, wonderful medieval town, 4km from the city center.It is easy to reach the Old Town, by bus or by car, so you will spend your time there, but at the same time, you will enjoy the quiet surroundings, here.The house is in Sorisole, a lovely village 4 km from the centre of Bergamo, just below the mountain Canto Alto, where you will be able to go walking in the woods and on the hills, reaching the High Town through small roads and lovely paths. A part of the house is for guests only, so it is suitable to welcome either a single or a couple or even a family or a group of friends (up to 6 people). A rich breakfast will be served in a lovely dining room and during the summer in the garden, if you wish. A typical and rich Italian breakfast includes coffee, tea, milk, fruit juice, yogurt, bread, butter, jam and marmalade, biscuits and croissants. The house has just been built; it has 3 bedrooms for the guests: 1 single room, 1 double room and 1 twin room. Some rooms are facing a balcony and have a lovely view on the garden and the hills. A crib may be added to the room.There is a tv in each room. The big bathroom is on the same floor for guests' use only.You will find towels and sheets, and a hair-dryer, too.Very close to the house you can play tennis or go rock climbing on a practice wall. If you like history and art, beside giving you a piece of advice about the wonderful High Bergamo, we will be able to inform you about Romanesque Circuit, about 5- 6 km from here.
